As the COVID-19 crisis continues to develop we are better able to understand the impact on the industry and align our service capabilities accordingly. We would therefore like to reassure all Edmundson Ventilation & Heating customers that we not only continue to be open for business but have developed our service offering to consider your potential requirements over the coming months.
Earlier this week we launched our 24/7 Operation, available to all customers. This is an out of normal office hours emergency order line manned by experienced, professional electrical wholesalers who can assist with any enquiry at any time of the day or night. Our 230 locations continue to be fully operational and in the first instance they should be contacted for enquiries during their normal opening hours.

We continue to strictly follow all Government and NHS guidelines. The health and safety of our teams, customers and suppliers remains our top priority and we will continue to ensure that our trade counter and van delivery personnel use appropriate social distancing methods and PPE when servicing you, our customer. We can also assure you that all our trade counter and van delivery vehicles will be rigorously cleaned and all personnel will be subject to strict hygiene checks, including regular hand washing.
Our decentralised business model becomes even more valuable during this crisis. We have access to our £175+ million of UK stock which is held locally in our branches and can be supplied, in most cases, on a same day basis. To supplement this, our preferred suppliers hold large UK based stocks in their own distribution hubs, and we are purchasing more stock locally, not less. Our self-owned and managed fleet of over 550 delivery vehicles are ready to distribute this stock to you and where delivery is not appropriate our call and collect or out of hours collection facilities are available. We will of course continue to take great care when it comes to ensuring a safe handover of goods.
We have taken great pride during the previous three weeks in helping to support the front-line fight against Covid-19 and have been asked by the Government to continue to service key UK Industries and the Public Sector.
